Tanzania aka Bongo is known as one of the countries in East Africa and Africa as a whole with talented artistes, especially on the music front.
In East Africa, Tanzanian music rules the airwaves and the charts, thanks to the dedication and creativity the Bongo artistes are embracing each day.
Therefore it beats logic when you hear a Tanzanian singer saying he is intending to leave his motherland to travel abroad to try his luck. And that abroad is nowhere other than Nairobi, Kenya.
Veteran Tanzanian singer TID has revealed that he is planning to pitch tent in Kenya because he feels Kenyans value his music more than Tanzanians do.
TID has said that he believes his best followers are in Kenya and this explains why he has opted to relocate to the 254 to try his luck.
Since that infamous conviction after a fight in a night club, TID’s music career has experienced a lot of turbulence and has since been dwindling.
The singer is now trying to revive it and he feels Kenya is the best place to do that. Well, TID you are welcome but Kenya might not be the heaven you take it to be.
